A new μ-chloro-bridged one-dimensional coordination polymer [(μ-Cl)Cu(BBPY)]+ n (BBPY = 2,6-bis(2-benzimid-azolyl)pyridine)has been synthesized.Its structure was characterized by the X-ray diffraction method.The result of structure analysis indicates that the complex crystallizes in monoclinic with space group P2(1)/c.The copper(II)is coordinated with ni-trogen atom and chlorine atom,forming two stable five-member rings structure,and showing a cone of copper ions adopts a distorted coordination geometry.A one-dimensional chain coordin...
