摘要：
With the nonlinear Schrodinger equation descripting of beam propagation in strongly nonlocal media, the interaction and propagation properties of (2+1)-dimensional hyperbolic-cosine Gaussian beams in strongly nonlocal nonlinear media are studied. The analytical expressions of propagation of hyperbolic-cosine Gaussian beams in strongly nonlocal nonlinear media and second moment beam width are obtained, while the interactions between two hyperbolic-cosine Gaussican beams are resolved and analysized numerically. The results show that when the incidence is a single beam, there exists a critical power. When the input power is equal to the critical power, the second moment beam width remains invariant on propagation, otherwise the second moment beam width varies with a period during propagation. When two hyperbolic-cosine Gaussian beams propagate together, they always attract each other, and the transverse intensity distribution becomes complicated. The on-axis intensity evolution and the intensity distributions of the interaction between two beams during propagation are discussed in detail.

摘要：
We report on a numerical investigation of propagation property of high-power broadband laser beam in free space. We use Hankel transformation to solve Helmholtz equation numerically in the frequency domain. The modulation property of the broadband laser beam propagating in the Fresnel diffraction region is disclosed. It is found that the number of diffractive modulation rings equals to half the Fresnel number corresponding to the central wavelength of the broadband laser beam. The intensity modulation contrast of the broadband laser beam is smaller than that of monochromatic laser beam, suggesting that the broadband laser beam can suppress the harmful effect of near-field diffraction to some extent. Furthermore, it is demonstrated that the uniformity of near-field diffraction profile is determined by Fresnel number and bandwidth of the broadband beam.

摘要：
We study the soliton mobility in nonlocal nonlinear media with an imprinted fading optical lattice. The results show that the transverse mobility of solitons varies with the lattice decay rate and the nonlocality degree, which provides an opportunity for all-optical control of light.

摘要：
Propagation of a hollow Gaussian beam diffracted by a circular phase aperture is studied without making the paraxial approximation. The analytical expression of the intensity of the apertured hollow Gaussian beam is presented in the far field. The influences of the truncation parameter and the order of hollow Gaussian beam on the intensity distributions are discussed. It is shown that a circular IT-phase aperture can be used to transform a hollow Gaussian beam into a ring-shaped beam in the far field with the appropriate parameters. (C) 2012 Elsevier GmbH. 摘要：
We propose a model to implement the two-qubit quantum logic gates, i.e., the quantum phase gate and the Controlled-NOT gate, and generate the atomic qubits cluster states with a large detuned interaction between four-level atoms and a single-mode cavity field. In the presented protocol, the quantum information is encoded on the stable ground states of the atoms, and the effect of decoherence from atomic spontaneous emission is negligible. In addition, the interaction between atoms and the cavity is large detuned, and the cavity is only virtually excited. Therefore, the scheme is insensitive to the cavity decay. The experimental feasibility of our proposal is also discussed.

摘要：
We propose a scheme for hierarchical quantum information splitting with the recently realized six-photon cluster state (Lu et al. in Nat. Phys. 3:91, 2007), where a Boss distributes a quantum secret (quantum state) to five distant agents who are divided into two grades. Two agents are in the upper grade and three agents are in the lower grade. An agent of the upper grade only needs the collaboration of two of the other four agents for getting the secret, while an agent of the lower grade needs the collaboration of all the other four agents. In other words, the agents of two grades have different authorities to recover Boss's secret.

摘要：
Based on the nonlocal nonlinear Schrodinger equation, the propagation properties of anomalous hollow beams in strongly isotropic nonlocal media are investigated. The analytical expressions of the beam propagation, the on-axis intensity and the beam width are obtained. The results show that the evolution of the beam is periodical and the input power is the most important parameter. The input power determines the variation of the period. Furthermore, it is found that there exists a critical input power in the x direction and in the y direction separately when the initial beam widths in the two transversal directions are unequal. The beam width remains invariant in the corresponding transversal direction when the input power equals the critical power in one of the transversal directions. Selecting a proper input power, the beam can be broadened or compressed in the two transversal directions at the same time. In particular, the beam can be broadened (compressed) in one transversal direction, whereas in the other transversal direction, it is compressed (broadened), i.e., the transversal reverse transformation.

摘要：
A single-particle approach was used to derive Madey theorem in a novel free electron laser with wiggler magnetic field independent of z-axis. The result shows that the first part of Madey theorem remains the same, but the second has a more factor M<inf>o</inf>, which implies that the novel wiggler free-electron laser may have higher conversion efficiency of electron-beam kinetic energy than ordinary free-electron laser.

Using the superposition principle of vector field, the magnetic induction strength of wiggler model was calculated. The results were analyzed by computer simulation.
