The approximate analytical expressions of the apertured broadband beams in the far field with Gaussian and Laguerre - Gaussian spatial modes are presented. For the radially polarized Laguerre - Gaussian beam, the result reveals that the electromagnetic field in the far field is transverse magnetic.
