在总结前人水贫困研究的基础上,构建湖南农村水贫困测度模型,并以湖南省农村县域为评价单元,对其农村水贫困进行定量测算,并对湖南省农村水贫困的时空演变格局和驱动机制进行分析。结果表明:近10年来,湖南农村水贫困整体上呈"U"形变动趋势;湘中、湘西南为湖南农村水贫困的低值区,水贫困问题较为严重,湘西大部、湘东和湘南局部则为水贫困高值区;近年来湖南农村水贫困整体趋于改善,湘西等山地区改善速度较慢;通过聚类分析把农村水贫困的驱动因素分为4种类型;造成农村水贫困的驱动因素存在较大的区域差异。

Tile theory of WPI was used in Hunan Province and data for analysis were collected from Hunan Statistical Yearbooks and Hunan Water Resources Bulletins. Results showed that： 1 ） The change of water poverty is rendered as U-shaped of the whole Hunan in recent 10 years.
