The adsorption of uranium by home-made carbonate hydroxylapatite is studied. The adsorption effect is controlled by pH values, adsorption period, the consumption of CHAP, the initial concentration of uranium in wastewater. The results show that the rate of the remove of uranium by CHAP increases to 98.8% and the maximum adsorption capacity is up to 15.38 mg/g when pH values is 5.5, adsorption period is 60 min, the consumption of CHAP is 4 g/L, the initial concentration of uranium in wastewater is 40 mg/L.
