通过对亚马逊图书网上英语读者评价的调查和分析,发现安乐哲中国哲学典籍英译本在英语国家的接受情况较好,并由此提出翻译选材应满足英语读者对译本内容的期待和需求、翻译文本应满足英语读者对译本语言的审美需求、哲学典籍的翻译应既有哲学深度又通俗易懂和负责译本发行的出版社的选择相当重要等观点,旨在为翻译工作者和学者翻译及传播中国哲学提供借鉴,促进中国哲学走向世界。

The present paper is intended to investigate the acceptance of Roger T.Ames' s English translations of Chinese philosophical classics based on a survey study of English readers' book reviews appearing on Amazon.com.The findings show that Roger T.Ames' s English translations of Chinese philosophical classics are comparatively more evaluated,and well accepted in the English-speaking countries.This study provides insights and reference to translators and scholars regarding how to translate Chinese philosophi...
