学界对于“翻译能力”的概念一直存在争议。翻译本质上是一种跨越不同符号系统的信息加工与传递过程,在包括原文理解、双语转换、译文输出的整个翻译过程中,译者的翻译能力主要是指译者获取信息、处理信息以及验证信息的能力。因此有必要改进翻译课程的设置,提高信息时代译者的翻译能力,培养符合现代语言服务市场的翻译人才。
