王船山语言文字学思想主要体现在其专著《说文广义》之中。其在论述汉字的假借、虚字的特色和演变、多音字的读音、词义引申等方面,都有自己独到的见解。我们应正确认识王船山在语言学史上的贡献,确立其应有的地位。
