依人建极是王船山哲学的出发点与落脚点,他提出从人的立场来建构世界,但也主张遵循客观规律,即天道。王船山从"太和絪缊"以立天道;"天道之本然是命,在人之天道是性"天人合性以立人道;尽人合天,依人建极等方面阐释了其"存人道以配天地,保天心以立人极"依人建极的天人关系论。王船山依人建极的天人论具有一定的历史价值与现实启示,对于我们当前加强社会主义生态文明的建设,倡导人与自然和谐共生的价值理念也不失理论和实践意义。
