近年来,虽然湖南省的经济发展速度较快,经济发展水平得到很大程度的提高,但其经济发展水平在中部地区仍处于落后地位,而且其内部经济发展也极不平衡.运用主成分分析方法,对湖南省各地州市的经济发展水平进行综合分析与评价;采用聚类分析法,对14个地州市进行发展层次的划分,明确各地区的空间分布格局;在此基础上,分析区域经济发展差异的原因,提出了相关对策,为促进湖南省区域经济的快速、协调发展提供参考.
