对102名农村中学生的英语语用能力进行了问卷调查，发现中学生在英语交际时存在语用失误。通过对调查问卷结果的统计和分析，找出了造成语用失误的原因，并对今后的农村英语教学中培养学生交际能力提出了建议。

By investigating 102 students＇ English pragmatic competence in the country middle school, the author linds that the pragmatic failures exist among nearly all the country middle school students.
