"五四"运动有力地推动了20世纪20年代我国中小学科学教育的变革进程。以设计教学法为代表的教育实验,深刻地影响了我国近代中小学教育的变革趋向与发展进程。科学文化是科学教育生存、发展的肥沃土壤和重要源泉,也是科学教育得以确立、推广和普及的基础。"五四"时期的科学教育思潮是科学文化广泛渗入教育领域的结果,"五四"时期我国中小学的科学教育变革必定给当代科学教育的开展留下深刻的启示。

May Fourth new culture movement promoted forcefully the reform process of science education in primary and secondary schools in China in the 1920s. The project teaching method is the representative of educational experiment, which has brought profound influence to the reform of science education in modern primary and middle schools in our country.
