罗伯-格里耶作为法国“新小说”奠基人和“新浪潮”电影推动者，创新了新的文学形态“电影小说”。“电影小说”兼顾了文学性和电影的诸种艺术特征，小说中的物体以影像的方式呈现，采用拍摄的形式呈现物体的真实存在状态并传达人的内在感受。小说情节借鉴“蒙太奇”的剪辑方式，模仿库里肖夫将人物特写与不同的场景组接，产生了震撼的视听效果。小说还模拟摄像机的拍摄视角塑造了全新的叙述者，实现了叙事者在不同时空的自由穿梭。小说创作采用了电影脚本的写作方式，体现了事件的不确定性和不可捉摸性。

As the French founder of ＂new novel＂ and promoter of ＂new wave＂ movie, Main Robbe-Gril- let creates a new form of literature, ＂film novel＂ with artistic features of literature and films. The objects in the novel are presented through the way of images, and characters＇ inner feelings are conveyed in the form of shooting. The plot of the novel is organized by way of ＂montage＂.
