严歌苓的小说具有影像化的特点。小说语言如同电影符号,通过模拟摄像机视角塑造多重身份的叙事者,同时通过多重叙事视角的自由切换,弥补摄像机单一视角的不足。小说采用电影的叙事时间——现在时,讲述发生在过去、现在、未来的故事。通过选取相似动作作为连接点,实现多重时空的自由穿梭。

Yan Geling＇s novels have the feature of visualization and the language has the one of film sym- bol. By the imitation of camera angle the narrators＇ multiple identities are shaped, and at the same time through the free switch of multiple narrative perspectives, the single view of camera can be made up for.
