A mononuclear manganese complex [Mn(2,2′-bipy)(H20) 4]·(m-phth) (2,2′-bipy=2,2′-bipyridine, m-phth=isophthalate) has been synthesized by hydrothermal methods. The crystal structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.
