One dimensional chain manganese(H) coordination polymer has been synthesized with 2,4,6-trimethylbenzoic acid, 4,4'-bipyridine and manganese perchlorate anhydrous, and characterized by IR and elementary analysis. Its crystal belongs to orthorhombic space group Ccca with a=1.302 84(15) nm, b=2.601 1(3) nm, c=2.332 2(3) nm; V=7.903 5 (15) nm(3), D-c = 1.227 g . cm(-3), Z=8, F(000) = 3 064, R-1 = 0.068 4, wR(2) = 0.210 9.
