机器翻译离不开语境分析，如果忽略原语赖以产生的特定语境去进行翻译，往往会导致歧义现象的产生。本文分析了机器翻译的现状，并运用语用学理论，探讨了语境分析在机器翻译中的重要性，认为只有对原文进行语言语境和文化语境的分析，才能准确地把其字面意义和内涵意义传译到译文中，在此基础上也才能不断提高机器翻译的质量。

It is important to analyze the context in machine translation;otherwise,it will result in mistranslation. After introducing pragmatics,this paper puts forward a mode of translation and discusses the significance of context analyses in machine translation. If the computer knows how to analyze the linguistic and cultural contexts of the source texts, it will successfully find out the literal and pragmatic meaning of the source text and get a better version.
