根据GIS程序设计的特点以及对基础知识、实践技能和思维能力等的基本要求,详细地探讨了有效的学习方法。基于此,提出了地方高校GIS专业提升程序设计课程教学效果、强化学生程序设计技能的有效途径,研究工作可以为地方高校GIS专业办学转型提供借鉴。
