Geographic Information System for Transportation (GIS-T) is an integrated technology of GIS and Transportation, which deals mainly with linear features-only have one set of attribute. Linear Reference System (LRS) is a onedimensional system. An unknown linear feature can be expressed directly according to the known linear features' position information and those relatively position relationship of each other without x, y coordinates.
