Focusing on the scheduling of multiple media streams, a new weight based scheduler algorithm is presented. The author, based on a term study of some classic algorithms, including the algorithm based on the feedback from buffer area, and the algorithm based on DTS scheduling, proposes this new algorithm. This algorithm implements the assignment of dynamic weight to each media stream, compares the weight of each media stream before scheduling, and always schedules the first priority.
