Based on the GPS module and SPCE061A micro-controller unit, this paper describes how to design a bus-stop auto-announce system. Making use of seriers port communication with the GPS module, the micro-controller unit receives and processes the latitude and longitude information to make sure that the bus has entered the station, and then announces the station name automatically.
