The zinc(II) coordination polymer Zn2(L)2(bix)2·2H2O (1) [H2L = 4,4′-methylenebis(oxy)dibenzoic acid, bix = 1,4-bis(imidazole-1-yl-methylene)-benzene] was synthesized by hydrothermal reaction. The title compound was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, IR spectroscopy, and elemental analysis.
