Nowadays the security of images is obviously more important. Some scholars have applied Rivest-Shamir-Adleman (RSA) algorithm and Chen chaotic system to image encryption. However, the application of the two methods in image encryption can still be explored. In this paper, it proposes an encryption scheme which uses asymmetric cipher RSA encryption algorithm and Chen chaotic system to scramble and diffuse the image.
