Two dinuclear trialkytin aryloxyacetates were synthesized by the reaction of 1,4-phenylenedioxydiacetic acid with bis(tributyltin) oxide and bis[tri(2-methyl-2-phenyl)propyltin] oxide, respectively. The structures were characterized by IR, H-1, C-13 NMR, and X-ray crystal diffraction methods. Thermogravimetric analysis showed that the complexes possess good thermal stability in air atmosphere.
