侧面地貌景观是现有基于水平正射视角的地貌学理论体系的有益补充,主要从与水平相垂直的侧面观察视角分析地貌景观在垂直空间中的格局特征与分异规律,深化人们对地貌景观的科学认知。现今,侧面地貌景观研究尚处在初步探索阶段,还没有构建科学的定量指标体系。因此,该文系统地分析和论述了侧面地貌景观量化的基本思路、原则及其数学意义;并结合相关的实验分析结果,详述了径流节点特征信息、地貌垂直形态特征、流域能量密度3个定量指标的构建方法。研究成果对于促进侧面地貌景观探索的深入和实践应用都具有积极的意义。
