九嶷山斑竹文化是以其特有的斑竹为载体,以弘扬中华道德传统文化为宗旨,以传说中的中华初祖五帝之一的舜帝与其妻"二妃"忠贞不渝的爱情神话故事情节为线索,而演绎出的以家庭伦理道德为主体内容的地域特色文化。其形成和发展自有其历史地理环境背景,其文化的特质,是对舜帝所创造道德文化的弘扬,传统竹文化的丰富和发展,也是对人生完美的昭示。其旅游开发必须在深入调查研究的基础上,进行主题开发、整体提升。

The Mottled bamboo culture of Jiuyishan Mountain is a specific regional culture,which is rooted from the legendary love stories of Emperor Shun and his loyal wives Ehuang and Lvying,the two sister-princesses.The cultural trait is to promote family royalty,which is advocated by Emperor Shun,and to declare perfect life publicly.It has enriched the traditional bamboo culture.The tourism development of Jiuyishan Mountain should insist on the theme of mottled bamboo culture and upgra...
