合作原则是人们进行会话活动的一条指导性原则,对解释语言交际活动有着重要的意义。它是研究语言交际是否成功的准则,同样也是研究翻译是否成功的准则,因为语言交际既包括口头交际也包括书面交际,翻译便是书面交际的一种形式。因此,合作原则对翻译有着直接的指导意义,因为翻译的本质特征就是要在准确理解原语的前提下再现原语的真实意义。文章拟从语用学的角度,对合作原则与语用翻译问题试作一些探索,以求解决翻译中的一些实际问题。

Cooperative principle is a guide line for people's conversational activity and it has significant meaning in explaining the language communication activity .Cooperative principle is the maxims both for success language communication and transla-tion activity ,because language communication including oral and w ritten ,and translation is a kind of w ritten communication .
