在量子力学中，计算两个力学量算符的对易关系是非常重要的，一些重要原理和结论都与两个算符的对易关系有关，如两个力学量算符能否具有共同的本征态系或两个力学量算符是否同时具有确定值都与这两个算符能否对易有直接关联。一般说来，两个算符之间的对易关系的计算有两种方法，即直接计算法和作用态计算法。然而，实际计算两个算符的对易关系时，针对不同的问题需要使用不同的计算方法。该文从实例出发，系统地研究了如何正确地运用两种方法计算两个算符之间的对易关系，并分析讨论了对易关系在量子物理学中的重要应用。
