估测句在汉语中使用频率极高，但学界对它的关注度极低。与估测句相关的概念主要有三组：一为“辖域”组，包括外位估测辖域与内位估测辖域、显性估测辖域与隐性估测辖域、宽幅估测辖域与窄幅估测辖域、否定估测辖域与估测否定辖域；二为“指向”组，包括包孕型估测指向与非包孕型估测指向；三为“指数”组，包括估测指数与估测邻指律。以上三组概念的提出、界定与诠释，对估测句相关研究及其教学实践具有一定的理论价值和现实意义。
