近年来,数字图像的数量急剧上涨。通常数字图像中所包含的文字信息对于图片内容的理解、索引和检索具有重要意义。该文介绍了计算机对图像中文字自动识别和提取的主要步骤和技术难点;并提出了在静态图像文字提取技术中的几个设想。
