江泽民继承了毛泽东和邓小平的繁荣哲学社会科学的思想,并进一步具体化,提出了三个方面的正确性要求:政治正确性,"坚持为人民服务、为社会主义服务的方向";理论正确性,"以科学的理论武装人,以正确的舆论引导人,以高尚的精神塑造人,以优秀的作品鼓舞人";方法正确性,"弘扬主旋律,提倡多样化".落实了繁荣哲学社会科学的具体措施,努力为繁荣哲学社会科学创造客观条件、社会条件和主观条件.正确估价了繁荣哲学社会科学的作用,为使我国哲学社会科学的研究提高到一个新的高度提供了理论支持和强大的思想动力.
