摘要：
The ability of self-compassion and Confucian coping to predict anxiety and depression were examined in impoverished Chinese undergraduate students. Three hundred and thirty impoverished undergraduates completed measures of self-compassion, Confucian coping, depression, and anxiety. Results showed that higher self-compassion predicted lower depression and anxiety in impoverished undergraduates. Higher pro-setback thinking and responsibility thinking of Confucian coping were related with lower depression and anxiety. Higher fate thinking of Confucian coping was related with higher depression and anxiety. The predictive ability for depression and anxiety of self-compassion combined with fate thinking was better than self-compassion alone. Intervention to enhance self-compassion and reduce fate thinking may be beneficial to mental health in impoverished undergraduates.

摘要：
This study explored the association of the affective experience (AE) of life events on hopelessness depression (HD). Undergraduates (N = 301) participating in a 12-week prospective study completed measures of HD, cognitive style, and psychological stress. The results indicate AE is an underlying mechanism influencing the longitudinal link between life events and HD. Negative life events with clear negative AE directly promoted the development of HD. Positive life events with clear positive AE directly impeded the development of HD. Neutral life events with mixed AE directly and interacting with negative cognitive style promoted the development of HD. The results should increase understanding of the hopelessness theory of depression, and suggest that neutral life events should be important elements in depression therapy.

摘要：
The purpose of this study was to examine the structural validity of the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) in Chinese undergraduate students. A cross-sectional questionnaire survey with 631 Chinese undergraduate students was conducted, and the questionnaire package included a measure of demographic characteristics, PSQI, Chinese editions of Center for Epidemiologic Studies-Depression, State- Trait Anxiety Inventory, Rumination Response Scale, and Perceived Social Support Scale. Results showed that the item "use of sleep medicine" was not suitable for use with this population, that a two-factor model provided the best fit to the data as assessed through confirmatory factor analysis, and that other indices were consistently correlated with the sleep quality but not the sleep efficiency factor.

Student satisfaction has become an important concept in higher education because students are paying higher tuition fees and increasingly seeing themselves as customers and because satisfaction is commonly used as an indicator of quality by quality assurance agencies and the compilers of rankings and league tables. In business organisations, it has been established that employee commitment has a significant impact on employee performance and customer satisfaction. The purpose of this research is to examine the effects of lecturer commitment on student perceptions of teaching quality and student satisfaction. The sample comprised 24 lecturers and 456 students at one Chinese university. Data were obtained through self-administered paper-based questionnaires. A model linking lecturer commitment with students’ perceived teaching quality and student satisfaction was created and the hypotheses were tested using structural equation modelling. It was found that lecturer commitment to students’ academic achievement and lecturer commitment to the social integration of students are both positively related to student satisfaction. However, lecturer commitment to the social integration of students did not appear to influence students’ perceptions of teaching quality. The implications for higher education institutions are discussed.
摘要：
We examined the relationship between self-compassion and hopelessness depression. The participants were 418 students at a technology college in Hunan, China, who completed questionnaires to measure self-compassion, hopelessness depression, and negative cognitive style. The results showed that self-compassion was negatively associated with both hopelessness depression and negative cognitive style, and negative cognitive style emerged as a significant mediator in the relationship between self-compassion and hopelessness depression. The results suggest that self-compassion had buffering effects on hopelessness depression through its positive effects on negative cognitive style. The findings in the present study can help expand current understanding of self-compassion and hopelessness depression.

摘要：
A mixed integer programming mathematical formulation of vehicle routing problem with simultaneous pickups and deliveries, and time window constraints (VRP-SPDTW) is presented in this paper. The proposed model aims at minimizing the vehicle number and the overall travel cost. A novel two-stage hybrid metaheuristic method for VRP-SDPTW is also proposed. The first stage adopts improved ant colony optimization (IACO) to determine the minimum number of used vehicles. The second stage employs improved Tabu search to optimize the total travel cost, in which the initial solutions are obtained by IACO in the first stage. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed metaheuristic method.
