摘要:
Four Zn(II) and Cd(II) complexes with two kinds of terpyridines have been synthesized and characterized. All these complexes are six N coordinated with two terpyridines. 3-D networks have been formed with hydrogen bonds and pi-pi interactions. The luminescence properties have been studied and all these ligands and complexes can be used as luminescence materials. Four terpyridine coordination complexes, [Zn(meophtpy)(2)]center dot(ClO4)(2)center dot(H2O) (1), [Cd(meophtpy)(2)]center dot(ClO4)(2) (2), [Zn(nh2phtpy)(2)]center dot(ClO4)(2) (3), and [Cd(nh2phtpy)(2)]center dot(ClO4)(2) (4) (meophtpy = 4'-(p-methoxylphenyl)-2,2':6',2 ''-terpyridine, nh2phtpy = 4'-aminophenyl-2,2':6',2 ''-terpyridine), were synthesized using the solvothermal method. These complexes have been characterized by IR spectra, elemental analyses, and X-ray diffraction. In all these complexes, the metal ions are coordinated by six nitrogens from two terpyridines. 3-D networks have been constructed by hydrogen bonds and pi-pi interactions. The luminescence of these four complexes has been investigated in the solid state at room temperature.

摘要:
A new copper(II) coordination polymer [Cu-2(C5H4NCOO)(2)(C7H5N4)(2)](n) (1) has been synthesized with 4-pyridinecarboxylate and 3-(pyridin-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazolyl ligands. The crystal structure shows that two neighboring copper(II) ions are coordinated with two deprotonated (anionic) 3-(pyridin-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazole ligands to form a binuclear structure. Adjacent binuclear units are linked by 4-pyridinecarboxylate anions to form a three-dimensional network structure. The magnetic, fluorescent, and electrochemical properties and thermal stability of 1 were studied. The results show that 1 exhibits antiferromagnetic interaction, and upon excitation at 318 nm, it has an intense fluorescent emission at approximately 430 nm. The electron transfer of 1 is irreversible in electrode reactions. The thermogravimetric analysis shows that 1 is stable below 240 degrees C.

摘要:
A novel silver(I) complex [Ag(2,2'-bipy)(C14H9O3)]center dot(C14H10O3) has been synthesized with 2-benzoylbenzoic acid as the ligand. Crystal data for the title complex: monoclinic, space group Cc, a = 27.4089(13), b = 10.2897(5), c = 12.0024(6) angstrom, beta = 111.864(4), M-r = 715.49, V = 3141.5(3) angstrom(3), D-c = 1.513 g/cm(3), Z = 4, mu(MoK alpha) = 0.694 min(-1), F(000) 1456, the final R= 0.0473 and wR = 0.1146. In the title complex, the central Ag(I) ion is located in a triangular coordination environment. The electron transfer is quasi-reversible in the electrode reaction and it shows a strong emission peak in the range of 495 similar to 520 nm under 502 nm excitation. In addition, it displays diamagnetic property from 3 to 300 K.

摘要:
A new cadmium(II) complex Cd(OBBA)2(2,2A-bipy)2 with 2-benzoylbenzoic acid(HOBBA) and 2,2-bipyridine(2,2A-bipy) as ligands has been synthesized. Crystal data for the complex are as follows: monoclinic, space group P21/c with a = 16.402(3), b = 10.4191(18), c = 23.395(4) A, β = 91.765(2)o, V = 3996.2(12) A3, Dc = 1.455 gAcm-3, Z = 4, μ(Mo Kα) = 0.603 mm-1, F(000) = 1784, the final R = 0.0218 and w R = 0.0558. In the electrode reaction, its electron transfer is quasi reversible and the electrode reaction corresponds to Cd(II)/Cd(0). Under 618 nm radiation, the title complex shows a strong fluorescent band at around 326 nm. In addition, in the range of 2~300 K, this complex displays diamagnetic property.

A new 2D Zn(II) metal-organic framework, [Zn2(dib)(1,3-BDC)2(H2O), has been synthesized by the hydrothermal reaction of 1,3-benzenedicarboxylate with ZnSO4·7H2O in the presence of 1,4-di(1-imidazoly)benzene (dib=1,4-di(1-imidazoly)benzene, 1,3-H2BDC=1,3-benzenedicarboxylate). The crystal is of monoclinic system, space group P21/n, with a=0.803 67(12) nm, b=1.332 7(2) nm, c=2.372 5(4) nm, β=97.394(3)°, V=2.519 9(7) nm3, Z=4, F(000)=1 392, R=0.052 0 and wR=0.099 4 (I>2σ(I)). The two central zinc(II) ions in the complex locate in a different coordination geometry, one is a distorted tetrahedral and the other is a distorted square-pyramidal coordination geometry, respectively. The dib ligand acts as a bridging ligand, which links the 1D double-chain into 2D layer structure. The net is linked into three-dimensional supramolecular network by O-H···O hydrogen bonds.

摘要:
A mixed-ligand copper(II) complex ((4'-ferrocenyl-2,2':6',2''-terpyridine- k3,N',N'') (1,1'-phenanthroline-k2N,N')-copper(II) bis(perchlorate)) has been synthesized. Binding interactions of the complex with calf thymus DNA (CT-DNA) were investigated by UV-visible and CD spectroscopies. Results show that the copper complex mainly adopt electrostatic attraction binding mode with DNA and the binding constant is (3.22 ± 0.05) × 103 mol-1 L. The complex shows appreciable chemical nuclease activity in the presence of ascorbic acid. The DNA cleavage by the complex were inhibited strongly in the presence of DMSO and tert-butyl alcohol, which suggests that hydroxyl radicals are reactive oxygen species for the cleavage.

Anew copper(Ⅱ) complex {[Cu_2(Phen)_4(NO_3)][Cu(Phen)_2(L)]_2(L)_2(NO_3)_3}·2H_2O (1) with 2-benzoylbenzoic acid (HL) and 1,10-phenanthroline (Phen) as ligands has been synthesized. Crystal data for the complex are as follows: triclinic, space group P1, a=1.13857(5) nm, b=1.19349(7) nm, c=2.61531(13) nm, α=89.4280(10)°, β=82.753(2)°, γ=74.5370(10)°, V=3.3968(3) nm~3, Dc=1.408 g·cm~(-3), Z=1, μ(Mo Kα)=0.700 mm~(-1), F(000)=1480, final discrepancy factors R10.0571, wR_2=0.1334. In 1, there are two mononuclear cations [Cu(Phen)_2(L)]~+ and one dinuclear cation [Cu_2(Phen)_4(NO_3)]~(3+), and the four central Cu(Ⅱ) ions are all penta-coordinated. The electrochemical, fluorescent and magnetic properties of 1 were investigated. The results show that the electron transfer in the electrode reaction of 1 is quasi reversible, and the electrode reaction corresponds to Cu(Ⅱ)/Cu(Ⅰ). When the exciting radiation set at 488 nm, 1 can give off strong fluorescence band at around 494 nm. In addition, 1 displays diamagnetic property in temperatures range of 300~52 K. CCDC: 929034.
