Two new cobalt(II) complexes [Co-2(2,2'-bipy)(2)(dpa)(2)(H2O)(5)]center dot 4H(2)O (1) and Co(2,2'-bipy)(3)(SO (4))center dot 7.5H(2)O (2) have been synthesized with diaphonic acid (H(2)dpa) and 2,2'-bipyridine (2,2'-bipy) as ligands. In 1, two neighboring cobalt(II) ions are linked together by one bridging diaphonic acid group, forming an asymmetric dinuclear structure. 1 crystallizes in triclinic, space group P (1) over bar with alpha = 9.825(6), b = 13.007(8), c = 19.586(1) angstrom, alpha = 80.773(1)degrees, beta = 77.065(1)degrees, gamma = 85.902(1)degrees, M-r = 431.4, V = 2406.5(3) angstrom(3), D-c = 1.48 g/cm(3), Z = 2, mu(MoK alpha) = 0.767 mm(-1), F(000) = 1112, the final R= 0.0379 and wR = 0.0862. The central cobalt(II) ions in 1 and 2 are coordinated with six atoms, forming distorted octahedral coordination geometry. The fluorescence and thermal stability properties of 1 and 2 are also reported.

摘要:
A new europium(III) complex Eu(L)_3(Phen)_2 (1) with 2-benzoylbenzoic acid (HL) and 1,10-phenanthroline (Phen) as ligands has been synthesized. Crystal data for the complex are as follows: monoclinic, space group P2_1/c, a = 2.2577(4), b = 1.23484(19), c = 1.8789(3) nm, β = 94.918(3)o, V = 5.2189(14) nm~3, D_c = 1.512 g/cm~3, Z = 4, μ(MoKα) = 1.269 mm~(-1), F(000) = 2408, the final R = 0.0433 and wR = 0.1038. The Eu(III) ion is coordinated by nine atoms to give a single-capped square antiprism coordination geometry. 1 shows two intense fluorescence emission bands arising from the transitions of Eu~(3+): ~5D_0→~7F_1(597 nm) and ~5D_0→~7F_2(615 nm) with an excitation wavelength of 396 nm. In addition, 1 displays antiferromagnetic property at low temperature.

<jats:p>The zinc(II) coordination polymer Zn<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>(L)<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>(bix)<jats:sub>2</jats:sub><jats:bold>·</jats:bold>2H<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>O (<jats:bold>1</jats:bold>) [H<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>L = 4,4′‐methylenebis(oxy)dibenzoic acid, bix = 1,4‐bis(imidazole‐1‐yl‐methylene)‐benzene] was synthesized by hydrothermal reaction. The title compound was characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis, IR spectroscopy, and elemental analysis. The crystal structure determination reveals that compound <jats:bold>1</jats:bold> displays a twofold interpenetrated 3D framework, in which the Zn atoms are connected by the H<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>L ligands into interesting right and left‐handed helical chains. Topological analysis reveals that the title compound displays a (3,4)‐connected (6<jats:sup>3</jats:sup>) (6<jats:sup>5</jats:sup><jats:bold>·</jats:bold>8) topology. The solid‐state luminescent spectra was studied. Furthermore, the dispersed solution of compound <jats:bold>1</jats:bold> in DMF exhibits strong fluorescent emission, which could be quenched by trace amount of nitrobenzene.</jats:p>

A new Zn(Ⅱ) complex [Zn(Phen)_2(C_(12)H_6O_4N_2)(H_2O)]·3H_2O with 2,2'-bipyridine-3,3'-dicarboxylic acid and 1,10-phenanthroline (Phen) as ligands was synthesized, and the crystal data are as follows: monoclinic, space group P2_1/n, a = 12.5581(11), b = 17.3382(17), c = 15.6687(14) A,β= 110.579(2)°,M_r = 731.02,V = 3193.9(5) A~3, D_c = 1.520 g/cm~3, Z = 4, μ(MoKa) =0.833 mm~(-1), F(000) = 1508, the final R= 0.0431 and wR= 0.0936. In the title complex,the central Zn(Ⅱ) ion is located in a distorted octahedral coordination environment. The electrochemical and fluorescent properties were studied. The title complex possesses irreversible electron transfer in the electrode reaction, and it has a strong emission peak in the range of 470~505 nm, with the excitation wavelength being 488 nm.

<jats:p>A new complex, namely bis[4′-(furan-2-yl)-2,2′:6′,2′′-terpyridine]nickel(II) dichloride decahydrate, [Ni(C<jats:sub>19</jats:sub>H<jats:sub>13</jats:sub>N<jats:sub>3</jats:sub>O)<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>]Cl<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>·10H<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>O, has been crystallized by solvent evaporation and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The coordination environment of the Ni<jats:sup>II</jats:sup> cation is distorted octahedral with slight deviations from an idealized geometry. The most intriguing structural feature is an infinite two-dimensional hybrid water–chloride network parallel to (011) constructed by O—H...O and O—H...Cl hydrogen bonds involving two independent chloride ions and ten independent solvent water molecules with an L-shaped pattern. One of the furyl rings is disordered with a refined occupancy ratio of 0.786 (13):0.214 (13)</jats:p>
