摘要:
We study the entanglement dynamics of two atoms coupled to their own Jaynes-Cummings cavities in single-excitation space. Here, we use concurrence to measure atomic entanglement, and consider the Bell-like states to be initial states. Our analysis suggests that collapse and revival take place in entanglement dynamics. The physical mechanism behind entanglement dynamics is periodic information and energy exchange between atoms and light fields. For the initial Bell-like states, evolutionary periodicity of the atomic entanglement can only be found if the ratio of the two atom-cavity coupling strengths is a rational number. Also, whether there is a time translation between two kinds of initial Bell-like state depends on odd versus even numbers of the coupling-strength ratio. © 2021 Institute of Theoretical Physics CAS, Chinese Physical Society and IOP Publishing

摘要:
Based on the solvable dynamical model for quantum measurement process, we consider three uncoupled particles interacting with their local one-dimensional (1D) spin arrays. Here the 1D spin arrays can be regarded as the local phase decoherence environments for the particles. To demonstrate the dynamics of quantum entanglement among three particles in measuring process, the tripartite negativity is introduced. Our study indicates that the tripartite negativity is determined jointly by the initial states and the dephasing factors for four kinds of initial states, including GHZ-type states, W-type states, Weiner-GHZ states, and Weiner-W states. We find the particle-spin array interaction can destroy the tripartite negativity, and the tripartite negativity is the same for the family of entangled GHZ states or the family of entangled W states. Furthermore, there exists the sudden death of tripartite negativity when the initial states are Weiner-GHZ states or Weiner-W states.

摘要:
波导量子电动力学是实现量子网络的理想方案之一,而自发辐射导致的退相干是阻碍其发展的主要因素.该文以矩形波导为例,研究在受限空间中二能级原子的自发辐射特性.通过利用Lippmann-Schwinger方程和不含时薛定谔方程推导出矩形波导与二能级原子耦合系统的本征散射态和本征束缚态,进而求得时间演化算符和原子的自发辐射动力学.研究表明,原子的自发辐射特性主要由原子与矩形波导的失谐量和耦合强度决定.与自由空间相比,矩形波导具有非线性色散关系,由此诱导的束缚态会导致稳态相干现象.该研究为在波导量子电动力学系统中实现量子网络提供了重要的理论指导.

摘要:
Cuprate superconductors have a layered structure, and then the physical properties are significantly enriched when two or more two copper-oxide layers are contained in a unit cell. Here the characteristic features of the renormalization of the electrons in the bilayer cuprate superconductors are investigated within the framework of the kinetic-energy driven superconducting mechanism. It is shown that the electron quasiparticle excitation spectrum is split into its bonding and antibonding components due to the presence of the bilayer coupling, with each component that is independent. However, in the underdoped and optimally doped regimes, although the bonding and antibonding electron Fermi surface contours deriving from the bonding and antibonding layers are truncated to form the disconnected bonding and antibonding Fermi arcs, almost all spectral weights in the bonding and antibonding Fermi arcs are reduced to the tips of the bonding and antibonding Fermi arcs, which in this case coincide with the bonding and antibonding hot spots. These hot spots connected by the scattering wave vectors qi construct an octet scattering model, and then the enhancement of the quasiparticle scattering processes with the scattering wave vectors qi is confirmed via the result of the autocorrelation of the electron quasiparticle excitation spectral intensities. Moreover, the peak-dip-hump structure developed in each component of the electron quasiparticle excitation spectrum along the corresponding electron Fermi surface is directly related with the peak structure in the quasiparticle scattering rate except for at around the hot spots, where the peak-dip-hump structure is caused mainly by the pure bilayer coupling. Although the kink in the electron quasiparticle dispersion is present all around the electron Fermi surface, when the momentum moves away from the node to the antinode, the kink energy smoothly decreases, while the dispersion kink becomes more pronounced, and in particular, near the cut close to the antinode, develops into a break separating of the fasting dispersing high-energy part of the electron quasiparticle excitation spectrum from the slower dispersing low-energy part. By comparing with the corresponding results in the single-layer case, the theory also indicates that the characteristic features of the renormalization of the electrons are particularly obvious due to the presence of the bilayer coupling. © 2020 Elsevier B.V.

为了提高纠缠态的内禀鲁棒性,并延长纠缠消退时间,探讨了幅值阻尼环境中量子比特基对两体纠缠鲁棒性的影响.展示了各种量子比特基下纠缠的退化特征和寿命,并给出各种情况下的最佳量子比特基.当纠缠态处于最佳量子比特基时,其纠缠退化的速率最慢,且不会在有限的时间内消失.结果表明可适时通过旋转量子比特基的方法来增强纠缠态的稳健性,将有助于提高基于纠缠的量子协议的实施质量或效率.

摘要:
In the practical application of quantum entanglement, entangled particles usually need to be distributed to many distant parties or stored in different quantum memories. In these processes, entangled particles unavoidably interact with their surrounding environments, respectively. We here systematically investigate the entanglement-decay laws of cat-like states under independent Pauli noises with unbalanced probability distribution of three kinds of errors. We show that the robustness of cat-like entangled states is not only related to the overall noise strength and error distribution parameters, but also to the basis of qubits. Moreover, we find that whether a multi-qubit state is more robust in the computational basis or transversal basis depends on the initial entanglement and number of qubits of the state as well as the overall noise strength and error distribution parameters of the environment. However, which qubit basis is conductive to enhancing the robustness of two-qubit states is only dependent on the error distribution parameters. These results imply that one could improve the intrinsic robustness of entangled states by simply transforming the qubit basis at the right moment. This robustness-improving method does not introduce extra particles and works in a deterministic manner. © 2019 by the authors.

摘要:
Photonic spin Hall effect (SHE) manifests itself as spin-dependent shift or splitting of a light beam, which is derived from spin–orbit interactions, and can be realized by breaking the rotation symmetry of light–matter interaction systems. Here, we demonstrate the observation of a photonic SHE by breaking the rotation symmetry of the optical field, while keeping the rotation symmetry of the inhomogeneous waveplate. The inhomogeneous waveplate constructed by dielectric nanostructures, introduces a spin-dependent Pancharatnam–Berry phase to the two spin components of the input beam, i.e., the left- and right-circular polarization components acquire exactly opposite vortex phases. During beam propagation, they experience opposite azimuthal rotations, and induce a four-lobe spin-dependent splitting in the azimuthal direction. In addition, the spin-dependent splitting becomes more evident upon beam propagation, and can be enhanced by increasing the topological orders of the nanostructures. For comparison, we also examine that no spin-dependent splitting can be observed when keeping the rotation symmetry of the incident optical field. © 2018 Elsevier B.V.

摘要:
Ultraviolet (UV) photodetectors with high responsivity and fast response are crucial for practical applications. Double perovskite Cs2AgBiBr6 has emerged as a promising optoelectronic material due to its excellent physics and photoelectric properties. However, no work is reported based on its film for photodetector applications. Herein, an ITO/SnO2/Cs2AgBiBr6/Au hole-transport layer free planar heterojunction device is fabricated for photodetector application. The device is self-powered with two responsivity peaks at 350 and 435 nm, which is suitable for ultraviolet-A (320–400 nm) and deep-blue light detecting. A high responsivity of 0.11 A W−1 at 350 nm and a quick response time of less than 3 ms are obtained, which is significantly higher than other semiconductor oxide heterojunction-based UV detectors. More importantly, the stability is significantly better than most of the hybrid perovskite photodetectors reported so far. Its photocurrent shows no obvious degradation after more than 6 months storage in ambient conditions without any encapsulation. Consequently, the utilization of Cs2AgBiBr6 film is a practical approach for high performance, large-area lead-free perovskite photodetector applications. For the mechanism, it is found that photogenerated carriers in Cs2AgBiBr6 film are separated at the Cs2AgBiBr6/SnO2 heterojunction interface by its built-in field. The low toxicity and high stability of this double perovskite active layer make it very promising for practical applications. © 2018 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim

摘要:
Schiff base butyltin complexes C1 ∼ C3 have been synthesized via the reaction of dibutyltin oxide with the substituted salicylaldehyde-o-aminophenol Schiff base ligands (L1 ∼ L3), respectively. The complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV-Vis, 1 H NMR, 13C NMR spectra and the crystal structures have been determined by X-ray diffraction. The anticancer activity of the Schiff base ligands L1 ∼ L3 and complexes C1 ∼ C3 against five species of cancer cells which are MCF7, Colo205, NCI-H460, Hela and HepG2 were tested respectively, the tests showed that C3 exhibited significant anticancer activity for the cancer cells in comparison with other complexes. The interaction between C3 and calf thymus DNA were studied by fluorescence, UV-Vis and Viscosity experiment, the results show that the interaction of C3 with calf thymus DNA was intercalation. © 2019, © 2019 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.

<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>The electron‐transporting material (ETM) is one of the key factors to determine the efficiency and stability of organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs). A novel ETM with a “(Acceptor)<jats:sub>n</jats:sub>–Donor–(Acceptor)<jats:sub>n</jats:sub>” (“(A)<jats:sub>n</jats:sub>–D–(A)<jats:sub>n</jats:sub>”) structure, 2,7‐di([2,2′:6′,2″‐terpyridin]‐4′‐yl)‐9,9′‐spirobifluorene (27‐TPSF), is synthesized by combining electron‐withdrawing terpyridine (TPY) moieties and rigid twisted spirobifluorene, in which the TPY moieties facilitate electron transport and injection while the spirobifluorene moiety ensures high triplet energy (<jats:italic>T</jats:italic><jats:sub>1</jats:sub> = 2.5 eV) as well as enhances glass transition temperature (<jats:italic>T</jats:italic><jats:sub>g</jats:sub> = 195 °C) for better stability. By using tris[2‐(<jats:italic>p‐</jats:italic>tolyl)pyridine]iridium(III) (Ir(mppy)<jats:sub>3</jats:sub>) as the emitter, the 27‐TPSF‐based device exhibits a maximum external quantum efficiency (η<jats:sub>ext, max</jats:sub>) of 24.5%, and a half‐life (T<jats:sub>50</jats:sub>) of 121, 6804, and 382 636 h at an initial luminance of 10 000, 1000, and 100 cd m<jats:sup>−2</jats:sup>, respectively, which are much better than the commercialized ETM of 9,10‐bis(6‐phenylpyridin‐3‐yl)anthracene (DPPyA). Furthermore, a higher efficiency, a η<jats:sub>ext, max</jats:sub> of 28.2% and a maximum power efficiency (η<jats:sub>PE</jats:sub>, <jats:sub>max</jats:sub>) of 129.3 lm W<jats:sup>−1</jats:sup>, can be achieved by adopting bis(2‐phenylpyridine)iridium(III)(2,2,6,6‐tetramethylheptane‐3,5‐diketonate) (Ir(ppy)<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>tmd) as the emitter and 27‐TPSF as the ETM. These results indicate that the derivative of TPY to form “(A)<jats:sub>n</jats:sub>–D–(A)<jats:sub>n</jats:sub>” structure is a promising way to design an ETM with good comprehensive properties for OLEDs.</jats:p>

摘要:
The spin Hall effect (SHE) of light, as an analogue of the SHE in electronic systems, is a promising candidate for investigating the SHE in semiconductor spintronics/valleytronics, high-energy physics and condensed matter physics, owing to their similar topological nature in the spin-orbit interaction. The SHE of light exhibits unique potential for exploring the physical properties of nanostructures, such as determining the optical thickness, and the material properties of metallic and magnetic thin films and even atomically thin two-dimensional materials. More importantly, it opens a possible pathway for controlling the spin states of photons and developing next-generation photonic spin Hall devices as a fundamental constituent of the emerging spinoptics. In this review, based on the viewpoint of the geometric phase gradient, we give a detailed presentation of the recent advances in the SHE of light and its applications in precision metrology and future spin-based photonics. © 2017 IOP Publishing Ltd.

摘要:
The polarization evolution of vector beams (VBs) generated by q-plates is investigated theoretically and experimentally. An analytical model is developed for the VB created by a general quarter-wave q-plate based on vector diffraction theory. It is found that the polarization distribution of VBs varies with position and the value q. In particular, for the incidence of circular polarization, the exit vector vortex beam has polarization states that cover the whole surface of the Poincare sphere, thereby constituting a full Poincare beam. For the incidence of linear polarization, the VB is not cylindrical but specularly symmetric, and exhibits an azimuthal spin splitting. These results are in sharp contrast with those derived by the commonly used model, i.e., regarding the incident light as a plane wave. By implementing q-plates with dielectric metasurfaces, further experiments validate the theoretical results. (C) 2017 Chinese Laser Press

摘要:
We report direct measurements of the Pancharatnam–Berry (PB) phase in mode transformations on a hybrid-order Poincaré sphere. This geometric phase arises when the vector vortex states undergo a cyclic transformation over a closed circuit on a hybrid-order Poincaré sphere. The measured PB phase is proportional to the solid angle of the closed circuit, as well as to the variation of the total angular momenta between north and south poles. More importantly, a zero PB phase has been demonstrated, despite the vector vortex states taken through a closed circuit on the hybrid-order Poincaré sphere. This interesting phenomenon can be explained as being due to the zero Berry curvature. © 2017 Optical Society of America.

摘要:
Schiff base organotin(IV) complexes C1 ∼ C5b have been synthesized via the reaction of the substituted salicylaldehyde-o-aminophenol Schiff base ligands (L1 ∼ L3) with the dibenzyltin dichloride, n-butyltin trichloride or dibutyltin oxide, respectively. The complexes have been characterized by IR, UV–Vis, 1H NMR, 13C NMR spectra, elemental analysis and the crystal structures have been determined by X-ray diffraction. The anticancer activity of the Schiff base ligand and complexes C1 ∼ C5b against five species of cancer cell which are Hela, MCF7, HepG2, Colo205, NCI–H460 were tested respectively, the tests showed that C1 ∼ C5b exhibited significant anticancer activity for the cancer cells in comparison with the ligand, and the activity was greater than carboplatin. © 2017

Two coordination complexes [Cu(phtpy)(obda)]center dot 2H(2)O (1) and [Cu-4(meophtpy)(4)(mbda)(4)]center dot 4H(2)O (2) [phtpy = 4'-phenyl-2,2':6',2aEuro(3)-terpyridine, meophtpy = 4'-(4-methoxyphenyl)-2,2':6',2aEuro(3)-terpyridine, H(2)obda = 1,2-benzenedicarboxylic acid and H(2)mbda = 1,3-benzenedicarboxylic acid] have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by IR, elemental analysis and X-ray single-crystal diffraction. In complex 1, the Cu(II) atoms are bridged by obda(2-) ligands to give 1D chains with phtpy as a terminal ligand, while a 3D network is constructed by hydrogen bonds and pi-pi interactions. In complex 2, the Cu(II) atoms are coordinated by two meophtpy ligands and also linked by mbda(2-) ligands forming a discrete tetranuclear complex. In this complex also, a 3D network is constructed by hydrogen bonds and pi-pi interactions. The most striking feature of complex 2 is that one meophtpy ligand is almost overlapped upon the next which is seldom found in 2,2':6',2aEuro(3)-terpyridine complexes. The luminescence properties of both complexes 1 and 2 have been investigated.

摘要:
The photonic spin Hall effect (SHE) in the reflection and refraction at an interface is very weak because of the weak spin-orbit interaction. Here, we report the observation of a giant photonic SHE in a dielectric-based metamaterial. The metamaterial is structured to create a coordinate-dependent, geometric Pancharatnam Berry phase that results in an SHE with a spin-dependent splitting in momentum space. It is unlike the SHE that occurs in real space in the reflection and refraction at an interface, which results from the momentum-dependent gradient of the geometric Rytov Vladimirskii Berry phase. We theorize a unified description of the photonic SHE based on the two types of geometric phase gradient, and we experimentally measure the giant spin-dependent shift of the beam centroid produced by the metamaterial at a visible wavelength. Our results suggest that the structured metamaterial offers a potential method of manipulating spin-polarized photons and the orbital angular momentum of light and thus enables applications in spin-controlled nanophotonics. © 2015 CIOMP.

Understanding the mechanism of ferromagnetism in hexagonal boron nitride nanosheets, which possess only s and p electrons in comparison with normal ferromagnets based on localized d or f electrons, is a current challenge. In this work, we report an experimental finding that the ferromagnetic coupling is an intrinsic property of hexagonal boron nitride nanosheets, which has never been reported before. Moreover, we further confirm it from ab initio calculations. We show that the measured ferromagnetism should be attributed to the localized π states at edges, where the electron-electron interaction plays the role in this ferromagnetic ordering. More importantly, we demonstrate such edge-induced ferromagnetism causes a high Curie temperature well above room temperature. Our systematical work, including experimental measurements and theoretical confirmation, proves that such unusual room temperature ferromagnetism in hexagonal boron nitride nanosheets is edge-dependent, similar to widely reported graphene-based materials. It is believed that this work will open new perspectives for hexagonal boron nitride spintronic devices. © 2014 AIP Publishing LLC.

Observation of photonic spin Hall effect (SHE) manifested by spin-dependent splitting of light in a dielectric-based birefringent metasurface is reported experimentally. By designing the metasurface with homogeneous phase retardation but space-variant optical axis directions, we govern the photonic SHE via space-variant Pancharatnam-Berry phase originated from the local polarization manipulation of the metasurface, essentially, the spin-orbit interaction between the light and the metasurface. Modulating the polarization distribution of the incident light and/or the structure geometry of the metasurface, the photonic SHE could be tunable. This type of metasurface offers an effective way to manipulate the spin-polarized photons and a route for spin-controlled nanophotonic applications. © 2014 SPIE.
