Abstract: This study investigated the status of self-identity of 125 rural teachers from two rural schools in Hunan province through questionnaire. Results showed that the self-identity of rural teachers was at a low level. Specifically, rural teachers had low recognition rate of their social status and eco-nomic status and their job satisfaction needed to be improved. Results also showed that there was a certain degree of identity crisis in rural teachers. The reconstruction and promotion of rural teachers’ self-identity needs to be carried out in three aspects: policy formulation, rural school management and rural teachers themselves.#@#@#摘要: 本文采用问卷调查法对湖南省两所乡村学校的125名乡村教师的身份认同现状进行了考察。研究发现,乡村教师的身份认同处于中等偏低水平,表现在乡村教师对自身社会地位及经济地位认可程度不高,工作满意度有待提升。研究结果说明乡村教师已存在一定程度的身份认同危机,乡村教师身份认同的重构与提升需要从政策制定、学校管理及教师自身三方面来开展。

Abstract: Based on the background of transformation and development of local universities and the idea of individualized education, this study put forward the curriculum system of applied psychology in the guidance of “one center, two divisions, and three paths”. Through the optimization and integration of curriculum and the innovation of practice teaching mode, we could achieve the goal of triage training and help undergraduate students to be successful through multiple paths.#@#@#摘要: 本研究立足地方高校转型发展的背景,秉承“因材施教”的教育思想,提出了以“一中心、二分流、三路径”为导向的应用心理学专业课程体系,通过优化整合专业课程和改革创新实践教学模式,实现对学生的分流培养,促成学生的多路径成才。

Eight dyads ( N = 16) residing in Western Canada participated in this investigation of how young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their parents jointly construct, articulate, and act on goals pertinent to the young adults' transition to adulthood. Using the action-project method to collect and analyze conversations and video recall data, cases were grouped representing the ways goal-directed projects brought relationship ( n = 4), planning ( n = 3) or both ( n = 1) to the foreground as joint projects. Resources internal to the dyad such as emotional resources, and external to the dyad, facilitated formulation and pursuit of projects. Lack of external supports and limited parental knowledge about IDD hindered joint project formulation.

摘要:
The purpose of this study was to examine the structural validity of the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) in Chinese undergraduate students. A cross-sectional questionnaire survey with 631 Chinese undergraduate students was conducted, and the questionnaire package included a measure of demographic characteristics, PSQI, Chinese editions of Center for Epidemiologic Studies-Depression, State- Trait Anxiety Inventory, Rumination Response Scale, and Perceived Social Support Scale. Results showed that the item "use of sleep medicine" was not suitable for use with this population, that a two-factor model provided the best fit to the data as assessed through confirmatory factor analysis, and that other indices were consistently correlated with the sleep quality but not the sleep efficiency factor.

<jats:sec id="S0924270813000471_abs1" sec-type="general"><jats:title>Objective</jats:title><jats:p>This study provides a comprehensive review of the literature on memory impairment and the potential effective factors in patients with chronic pain.</jats:p></jats:sec><jats:sec id="S0924270813000471_abs2" sec-type="methods"><jats:title>Methods</jats:title><jats:p>A literature search of databases PubMed, EMBASE, SpringerLink, and PsycINFO until September 2012 was conducted using the keywords ‘memory’ and ‘chronic pain’. The study emphasises on publications over the past 20 years.</jats:p></jats:sec><jats:sec id="S0924270813000471_abs3" sec-type="results"><jats:title>Results</jats:title><jats:p>Memory impairment in chronic pain patients is substantial, but the aspects of memory (e.g. working memory, long-term memory, and autobiographical memory) in chronic pain patients and the potentially related factors (e.g. age, level of education, pain conditions, emotion, neural network, and use of analgesics) are modest. Memory impairment is interpreted with the attention-narrowing hypothesis and the capacity-reduction hypothesis.</jats:p></jats:sec><jats:sec id="S0924270813000471_abs4" sec-type="conclusion"><jats:title>Conclusions</jats:title><jats:p>The currently available data and theory have explained memory impairment in chronic pain patients, but many controversies remain. Future research should focus on the subclinical characteristics of chronic pain, enlarging the sample size, and emphasise on the experimental intervention method and the cognitive neuroscience method.</jats:p></jats:sec>
